Magnesium is an important mineral to skin and body function. This balm provides a topical magnesium source in the form of magnesium chloride. Our grass-fed tallow and other plant oils help the magnesium glide easily on the skin without leaving a prolonged greasy or salty residue. The added moisture helps keep skin from experience excessive dryness or irritation.

• Magnesium Chloride - A naturally occurring source of magnesium. Has been demonstrated to achieve much greater bioavailability than other sources.
• Grass fed tallow - Creates an ultra moisturizing, easily absorbing balm. It's similarity to human dna and fatty acid profile helps moisture penetrate deep into skin. 
• Plant oils - Formulated to work with our grass fed tallow to moisturize, reduce inflammation and irritation and maintain skin's natural barrier.

All of the tallow products at Broken Rock Farms are crafted using carefully chosen ingredients, selected with intention to ensure quality and effectiveness. Our primary goal is to provide tallow based soaps and skincare that focus on supporting natural skin barrier function. Our products are free from sulfates, phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, mineral oil, synthetic detergents, and other harsh ingredients.

DIRECTIONS

Apply a small amount to skin, massaging it gently in circular motions until fully absorbed. For external use only. Magnesium chloride is a magnesium salt that may irritate sensitive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

For best results, try these tips with your magnesium balm: 

• Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight
• When using, make sure your hands are clean and dry
• Best if used within 6 months

OUR PROCESS

After the rendering process, our tallow products are created by combining grass-fed tallow and other natural ingredients. We carefully monitor and regulate temperatures to protect the integrity of all ingredients. 

Essential Oils / Fragrance: Products that include the use of essential oils or fragrances are created with safety as top priority. Total essential oil and fragrance usage rates comply with IFRA standards of use and safety. We do not recommend the use of fragrance or essential oils for highly sensitive skin, and we do not recommend the use of essential oils for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or children younger than two years old. Preservatives: Some products contain synthetic preservatives when necessary to prevent the growth of microbials. Although not 100% natural, the preservatives we use have been extensively studied for safety and are plant-derived. They make up 1% or less of our product formulas and do not contain formaldehyde.

Emulsifiers: Some products contain synthetic emulsifiers when natural emulsifiers are not available or appropriate. Emulsifiers are used to prevent product separation and maintain product integrity. The emulsifiers we use have been determined safe and non-toxic for topical use by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review.
