INGREDIENTS

• Grass-fed tallow - Our grass fed tallow creates an ultra moisturizing, easily absorbing body butter that is less likely to clog pores or leave you feeling greasy. It penetrates deep into the skin's layers due to its unique compatibility with human skin and contains natural vitamins A, D, E, and K, all of which are beneficial for skin health. Tallow's fatty acid profile includes conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), an omega-6 fatty acid found primarily in animal fats from ruminants and known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which support skin balance, barrier restoration, and collagen creation. Tallow moisturizes, soothes, and protects your skin. It is suitable for almost all skin types.
• Rose Hydrosol - gently hydrates and refreshes the skin while helping to balance its natural pH. Naturally soothing and calming, it reduces redness and irritation, making it ideal for sensitive or stressed skin.
• Peptides - Hydrolyzed rice protein is a peptide that can help fibroblasts grow, leading to better cell production. This boosts cell activity, increases collagen production, reduces wrinkles, and makes the skin smoother and firmer.
• Squalane - lightweight, non-greasy oil that can deeply moisturize the skin, strengthen the skin barrier, preventing moisture loss and help protecting against environmental damage. It is known to have anti-aging benefits and can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while improving skin elasticity.
• Pomegranate Seed Oil - Can help stimulate cell renewal and protect skin from free radicals and UV damage. It has anti-microbial properties and can help to increase collagen production.
• Rosehip Seed Oil - Rosehip contains high amounts of vitamin A, which helps to repair damaged skin (including scars), reduce acne, and diminish wrinkles. It is also a natural source of essential fatty acids that aid skin regeneration, repair and healing. It helps to soften and hydrate the skin, and can alleviate some signs of aging.
• Panthenol - Vitamin B5 helps support skin barrier function and reduce water evaporation.
• Sodium Phytate - Can help to improve skin function and balance as well as prolong shelf life.
• Propanediol - Helps draw and retain moisture into the skin and improves the delivery of other active ingredients into the skin.
• Vitamin E - Anti-oxidant that helps to keep skin from losing moisture and protect skin cells from damage.

All of the tallow products at Broken Rock Farms are crafted using carefully chosen ingredients, selected with intention to ensure quality and effectiveness. Our primary goal is to provide tallow based soaps and skincare that focus on supporting natural skin barrier function. Our products are free from sulfates, phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, mineral oil, synthetic detergents, and other harsh ingredients.

DIRECTIONS

Apply to a clean face after any serums or treatments. For external use only. Due to the differences from commercially made products, your skin may experience an adjustment period. Our tallow products are designed for use on all skin types, however, we recommend performing a patch test before full use.

For best results, try these tips with your tallow cream: 

• Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
• Best if used within 6 months

OUR PROCESS

After the rendering process, our tallow products are created by combining grass-fed tallow and other natural ingredients. We carefully monitor and regulate temperatures to protect the integrity of all ingredients. 

Essential Oils / Fragrance: Products that include the use of essential oils or fragrances are created with safety as top priority. Total essential oil and fragrance usage rates comply with IFRA standards of use and safety. We do not recommend the use of fragrance or essential oils for highly sensitive skin, and we do not recommend the use of essential oils for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or children younger than two years old. Preservatives: Some products contain synthetic preservatives when necessary to prevent the growth of microbials. Although not 100% natural, the preservatives we use have been extensively studied for safety and are plant-derived. They make up 1% or less of our product formulas.
