INGREDIENTS

• Grass-fed tallow - Our grass fed tallow creates an ultra moisturizing, easily absorbing body butter that is less likely to clog pores or leave you feeling greasy. It penetrates deep into the skin's layers due to its unique compatibility with human skin and contains natural vitamins A, D, E, and K, all of which are beneficial for skin health. Tallow's fatty acid profile includes conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), an omega-6 fatty acid found primarily in animal fats from ruminants and known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which support skin balance, barrier restoration, and collagen creation. Tallow moisturizes and protects your skin. It is suitable for almost all skin types.
• Glycerin -Draws moisture into the skin for longer lasting hydration.
• Jojoba Oil - The closest plant oil in composition to human skin, it is not an oil at all, but a liquid waxy. It can help to regulate sebum production and assist with the breakdown of sebum that has clogged up pores. It helps skin feel soft and smooth as well as moisturized without oiliness.
• Sunflower Oil - Rich in vitamins (especially vitamin E) and beta-carotene as well as fatty acids that moisturize and protect the skin. It helps maintain the skin's natural barrier, promote new skin cell growth, and lock in moisture for longer lasting hydration.
• Vitamin E - Antioxidant that helps maintain and restore skin barrier function by helping to protect cells from damage and retaining moisture.

All of the tallow products at Broken Rock Farms are crafted using carefully chosen ingredients, selected with intention to ensure quality and effectiveness. Our primary goal is to provide tallow based soaps and skincare that focus on supporting natural skin barrier function. Our products are free from sulfates, phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, mineral oil, synthetic detergents, and other harsh ingredients.

DIRECTIONS

Apply a small amount to skin, massaging it gently in circular motions until fully absorbed. Focus on particularly dry areas. For best results, apply lotion to damp skin after showering or bathing. For external use only. Due to the differences from commercially made products, your skin may experience an adjustment period.

• Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
• When using, make sure your hands are clean and dry
• Best if used within 6 months

OUR PROCESS

After the rendering process, our tallow products are created by blending our pure, grass-fed tallow with a selection of natural, skin-loving ingredients to create the perfect balance of nourishment and comfort. Each formula is thoughtfully crafted—combining the deep, restorative moisture of tallow with other butters and oils. The result is skincare that feels rich but never heavy, deeply hydrating yet breathable, and perfectly in tune with your skin’s natural balance.

Essential Oils / Fragrance: We use fragrances with safety as top priority. Total essential oil and fragrance usage rates comply with IFRA standards of use and safety. All fragrances are phthalate free and California Proposition 65 compliant (they do not contain chemicals listed by the state of California at levels considered harmful to health). We do not recommend the use of fragrance or essential oils for highly sensitive skin, and we do not recommend the use of essential oils for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or children younger than two years old. Preservatives: Some products contain synthetic preservatives when necessary to prevent the growth of microbials. Although not 100% natural, the preservatives we use have been extensively studied for safety and are plant-derived. They make up 1% or less of our product formulas and do not contain formaldehyde.
