Sugar Plum Punch Tallow Soap: grass fed tallow, water, olive oil, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, shea butter, fragrance, castor oil, kaolin clay, mica, citric acid

Sugar Plum Punch Hydrating Tallow Cream: water, grass-fed beef tallow, cold-pressed jojoba seed oil, cold-pressed sunflower seed oil, arachidyl alcohol/behenyl alcohol/arachidyl glucoside (natural emulsifier), cetyl alcohol, glycerin, propanediol, fragrance, phenoxyethanol, vitamin e, xanthan gum, sodium phytate, ethylhexylglycerin, citric acid

All of the tallow products at Broken Rock Farms are crafted using carefully chosen ingredients, selected with intention to ensure quality and effectiveness. Our primary goal is to provide tallow based soaps and skincare that focus on supporting natural skin barrier function. Our products are free from sulfates, phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, mineral oil, synthetic detergents, and other harsh ingredients.

DIRECTIONS

Soap: To use, get bar wet and work into a lather. Wash and rinse clean. For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Due to the differences from commercially made products, your skin may experience an adjustment period.  

To ensure your soap bar lasts as long as possible, try these tips between uses:

• Keep soap in a well drained soap dish & avoid direct water spray.
• Keep bar dry between uses.
• Use a washcloth or loofah. This will use less soap and extend the bar's longevity.
• Avoid direct sunlight & store unused soap in a cool, dark place.
• Best if used within one year.

Hydrating Tallow Cream: Apply a small amount to skin, massaging it gently until fully absorbed. Focus on particularly dry areas. For best results, apply lotion to damp skin after showering or bathing. For external use only. Due to the differences from commercially made products, your skin may experience an adjustment period.

For best results, try these tips with your body butter: 

• Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
• When using, make sure your hands are clean and dry
• Best if used within 6 months

OUR PROCESS

After the rendering process, our tallow products are created by blending our pure, grass-fed tallow with a selection of natural, skin-loving ingredients to create the perfect balance of nourishment and comfort. Each formula is thoughtfully crafted—combining the deep, restorative moisture of tallow with other butters and oils. The result is skincare that feels rich but never heavy, deeply hydrating yet breathable, and perfectly in tune with your skin’s natural balance.

Sodium & Potassium Hydroxide: Sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide are both necessary to transform oils, fats, and butters into soap. Through the magic that is chemistry and soapmaking, there is zero sodium/potassium hydroxide left in a final bar of soap once saponification is complete. 

Essential Oils / Fragrance: We use fragrances with safety as top priority. Total essential oil and fragrance usage rates comply with IFRA standards of use and safety. All fragrances are phthalate free and California Proposition 65 compliant (they do not contain chemicals listed by the state of California at levels considered harmful to health). We do not recommend the use of fragrance or essential oils for highly sensitive skin, and we do not recommend the use of essential oils for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or children younger than two years old. Non-Natural Colorants: The use of synthetic micas and oxides in some of our products is to ensure there is zero presence of harmful elements and heavy metals (like lead) that can be found in natural/mined micas & colorants. In addition, our colorants are sourced from suppliers that pride themselves on the ethical treatment of their workers and the environment. 

Preservatives: Some products contain synthetic preservatives when necessary to prevent the growth of microbials. Although not 100% natural, the preservatives we use have been extensively studied for safety and are plant-derived. They make up 1% or less of our product formulas and do not contain formaldehyde.
