- Grass fed tallow - Our grass fed tallow creates an ultra moisturizing, easily absorbing body butter that won't clog pores or leave you feeling greasy. It penetrates deep into the skin's layers due to it's unique compatibility with human skin and contains natural vitamins A, D, E, and K, all of which are beneficial for skin health. Tallow's fatty acid profile includes conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), an omega-6 fatty acid found primarily in animal fats from ruminants and known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which support skin balance, barrier restoration, and collagen creation. Tallow moisturizes, soothes, and protects your skin. It is suitable for all skin types.
- Plant oils - Formulated to work with our grass fed tallow to provide skin additional nourishment and moisture, as well as improve barrier function. Plus, they won't clog your pores or leave a greasy feel.
- Cetyl Alcohol - a fatty alcohol that smooths and softens skin by creating a protective barrier that retains moisture for longer lasting hydration.
- Arrowroot powder - known to help calm irritated skin and alleviate excessive dryness. Leaves a soft finish.
- Vitamin E - antioxidant that helps maintain and restore skin barrier function by helping to protect cells from damage and retaining moisture.

To use, we recommend applying directly after a shower or bath onto damp skin. Start with a small amount to avoid greasiness. Add more as needed. Work butter into skin and allow 1-2 minutes to absorb. For external use only. Due to the differences from commercially made products, your skin may experience an adjustment period. Our products are designed for use on all skin types, however, we always recommend performing a patch test before full body use.
For best results, try these tips with your whipped tallow butter:
- Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
- If you live in a warmer area, place in the refrigerator to avoid melting and preserve freshness.
- Due to its natural ingredients, separation may occur and is normal.
- If your butter melts or separates, don't panic. Melting and/or separation do not impact product performance. We recommend cooling it down in the refrigerator and giving it a quick stir to reincorporate ingredients.
- When using, make sure your hands are clean and dry.
- Best if used within 6 months.
Our tallow products start by rendering suet (a type of fat from cattle). We render it using a combination of wet and dry rendering methods at a low temperature as few times as possible. This process helps to purify the tallow and retain as much of the original vitamin content and fatty acid profile.
We do not add bleach or other chemicals to aid in our rendering process... because ew.
Our tallow products are then created using tallow and other natural and carefully curated ingredients directly on the farm. During this process we continue to carefully monitor and regulate temperatures to protect the integrity of all ingredients. We focus on using ingredients that nourish, absorb quickly & have a low comedogenic rating, so they are less likely to feel greasy on the skin or clog pores.
Essential Oils / Fragrance: Products that include the use of essential oils or fragrances are created with safety as top priority. Total essential oil and fragrance usage rates comply with IFRA standards of use and safety. We do not recommend the use of fragrance or essential oils for highly sensitive skin, and we do not recommend the use of essential oils for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or children younger than two years old.
