Formulated with grass fed tallow, plant oils and vitamin E to support and protect your skin, then whipped to a light, fluffy texture, it melts effortlessly and locks in moisture while allowing your skin to breathe.  Arrowroot powder ensures a non-greasy finish, leaving your skin soft, supple, and refreshed. The juicy aroma of black raspberries blends beautifully with the warm, creamy notes of vanilla, creating a decadent fragrance that lingers delicately. All of our tallow body butters are water-free, concentrated moisture ideal for use on body or face and are perfect for all skin types.

INGREDIENTS

• Grass fed tallow - Our grass fed tallow creates an ultra moisturizing, easily absorbing body butter that won't clog pores or leave you feeling greasy. It penetrates deep into the skin's layers due to it's unique compatibility with human skin and contains natural vitamins A, D, E, and K, all of which are beneficial for skin health. Tallow's fatty acid profile includes conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), an omega-6 fatty acid found primarily in animal fats from ruminants and known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which support skin balance, barrier restoration, and collagen creation. Tallow moisturizes, soothes, and protects your skin. It is suitable for all skin types.
• Plant oils - Formulated to work with our grass fed tallow to provide skin additional nourishment and moisture, as well as improve barrier function. Plus, they won't clog your pores or leave a greasy feel.
• Cetyl Alcohol - a fatty alcohol that smooths and softens skin by creating a protective barrier that retains moisture for longer lasting hydration.
• Arrowroot powder - known to help calm irritated skin and alleviate excessive dryness. Leaves a soft finish.
• Vitamin E - antioxidant that helps maintain and restore skin barrier function by helping to protect cells from damage and retaining moisture.

All of the tallow products at Broken Rock Farms include purposefully selected ingredients that have been thoroughly studied and tested for safety. Our primary goal is to provide tallow based soaps and skincare that focus on protecting and/or improving natural skin barrier function. Our products are free from sulfates, phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, mineral oil, synthetic detergents, and other harsh ingredients.  

DIRECTIONS

To use, we recommend applying directly after a shower or bath onto damp skin. Start with a small amount to avoid greasiness. Add more as needed. Work butter into skin and allow 1-2 minutes to absorb. For external use only. Due to the differences from commercially made products, your skin may experience an adjustment period. Our products are designed for use on all skin types, however, we always recommend performing a patch test before full body use.

For best results, try these tips with your whipped tallow butter: 

• Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
  
• If you live in a warmer area, place in the refrigerator to avoid melting and preserve freshness.
• Due to its natural ingredients, separation may occur and is normal.
• If your butter melts or separates, don't panic. Melting and/or separation do not impact product performance. We recommend cooling it down in the refrigerator and giving it a quick stir to reincorporate ingredients.
• When using, make sure your hands are clean and dry.
• Best if used within 6 months.

OUR PROCESS

After the rendering process, our tallow products are created by combining grass-fed tallow and other natural ingredients. We carefully monitor and regulate temperatures to protect the integrity of all ingredients. 

Essential Oils / Fragrance: Products that include the use of essential oils or fragrances are created with safety as top priority. Total essential oil and fragrance usage rates comply with IFRA standards of use and safety. We do not recommend the use of fragrance or essential oils for highly sensitive skin, and we do not recommend the use of essential oils for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or children younger than two years old.
