All of the tallow products at Broken Rock Farms are crafted using carefully chosen ingredients, selected with intention to ensure quality and effectiveness. Our primary goal is to provide tallow based soaps and skincare that focus on supporting natural skin barrier function. Our products are free from sulfates, phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, mineral oil, synthetic detergents, and other harsh ingredients.

DIRECTIONS

To use, we recommend applying directly after a shower or bath onto damp skin. Start with a small amount to avoid greasiness. Add more as needed. Work butter into skin and allow 1-2 minutes to absorb. For external use only. Due to the differences from commercially made products, your skin may experience an adjustment period. Our products are designed for use on all skin types, however, we always recommend performing a patch test before full body use.

For best results, try these tips with your whipped tallow butter: 

• Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
  
• If you live in a warmer area, place in the refrigerator to avoid melting and preserve freshness.
• Due to its natural ingredients, separation may occur and is normal.
• If your butter melts or separates, don't panic. Melting and/or separation do not impact product performance. We recommend cooling it down in the refrigerator and giving it a quick stir to reincorporate ingredients.
• When using, make sure your hands are clean and dry.
• Best if used within 6 months.

OUR PROCESS

After the rendering process, our tallow products are created by combining grass-fed tallow and other natural ingredients. We carefully monitor and regulate temperatures to protect the integrity of all ingredients. 

Essential Oils / Fragrance: Products that include the use of essential oils or fragrances are created with safety as top priority. Total essential oil and fragrance usage rates comply with IFRA standards of use and safety. We do not recommend the use of fragrance or essential oils for highly sensitive skin, and we do not recommend the use of essential oils for pregnant or breastfeeding moms or children younger than two years old.
